Just a wonderful piece of photojournalism

Just found an excellent blog post in Huffington Post. It is titled “The Faces of Cuba You Have to See.” The pictures are a beautiful piece of photojournalism. It’s also refreshing to see that they focus on Cuba’s most wonderful asset, its people, putting aside the politics that seems to always dominate whenever a journalist visits the island.Faces3

I loved this line from blogger Peggy Goldman:

“You’ll find that Cuban people are passionate, hard-working, entrepreneurial, proud, spiritual and deeply connected to their complex culture and heritage. Cuba is a melting pot of influences, including native, Asian, European and African, and it all shows in the faces of Cuba, which paint a poignant portrait of the country today.”

All I will add to that quote is… “so true.”
