Poor billionaire needs a roof

As I said last week, the Miami Dolphins want our money. Tax dollars to build Dolphins’ owner Stephen Ross a new roof and upgrade HIS Miami Dolphins stadium in Miami Gardens. They’re even trying to paint this rosier by saying it will be tax dollars derived from tourists. Interestingly, they are not willing to allow voters to opine. No, they say, we will miss the opportunity for the 2015 Super Bowl if that happens because of time constraints.

So their solution? Allow the politicians to make the decision. Just like they did with the Miami Marlins baseball stadium.

As stated by Norman Braman who opposes the idea as do a large majority of the people in Miami-Dade County… it’s another case of welfare for a billionaire.

Watch Braman and then representatives for the Dolphins being interviewed by Jim DeFede of CBS-Channel 4 in Miami.
