Latest David Rivera question: Did he almost marry the woman he never met and beat up?
Things seem to be getting worse for David Rivera. Miami’s state rep, who seems to want to lie his way to the District 25 Congressional seat abandoned by Mario Diaz-Balart, is mired in major Pinocchio-like problems. Over the past few months Rivera has been outed as a chronic liar. The problem is that the lies continue to mount, to the point, his growing nose has become so heavy he is falling over himself avoiding questions he seems to trip over – a standard NOT TRUE, he claims, in spite of evidence of truth against his continuing string of lies.
The latest dart which appeared yesterday in former Nuevo Herald reporter Rui Ferreira’s blog, Herejias y Caipirhinas, is that Rivera was close to marrying the woman he is being accused of beating up in the 1990s. A woman, by the way, who David says he’s never met! And to make matters juicier… the woman is a granddaughter of the only Cuban president ever named by Fidel Castro – a man by the last name of Dorticos, just like the woman Rivera NEVER beat up…
