World Cup Day

The amateur in extremis carries a ball between his ears. Rarely does he try to defend what he thinks because he is too nervous thinking about what he defends.

When his team touches the field, the world, the ball and the mind are one and the same thing.

With entrenched traditionalism, the fanatic prays or rubs his rabbit’s foot; and at the moment God is round and bounces unexpectedly.
