Looking forward to 2013
The new year is upon us. It’s a time to look forward and plan for bigger and better things. We can also applaud all that was accomplished the year just passed. Of course, there are the things we tried and missed on. So we’ll keep trying in 2013.
It is also when the entire team at Progreso Weekly/Semanal takes the time to thank so many of you who have helped this project continue moving forward. Special thanks to our readers: you’re all special to us.
And to our three main advertisers – Marazul, XAEL and ABC, all charter companies that travel to Cuba – it would be impossible without you.
We’re looking ahead to great things in 2013. We’ll surprise you when we’re ready.
As to our wishes:
• May all our family and friends be happy and safe.
• May we eliminate violence once and for all. Can we get rid of guns…
• The beginning of a better relationship between Cuba and the U.S. (pssst… Cuba’s ready, what’s the delay?)
• The Cuban Five free and happily reunited with their families.
• Alan Gross free and happily reunited with his family.
• Peace, love and good health. (What else is there?)
We’ll be back full time on January 10. In the meantime we will update daily.
