American rot

The first and only vice presidential debate had a clear winner. In spite of its very brief two-plus minute appearance on Vice President Mike Pence’s head during the 90 minute debate, Mr. or Ms. Fly stole the show and metaphorically showed the American public watching — some expressing themselves with nervous laughter during the 150 second appearance of the flying insect — that American politics has become a total shit-show where creatures of the Diptera family feed at the trough of pure rot.
