The most contemptible

Ted Cruz is the most contemptible man in Washington now that Donald Trump has left town.

What can you say about a man who not only fails to defend his wife and his father from slander and vile attacks and instead spends four years licking the boots of the offender?

In the era of the Founding Fathers, when honor was a thing, milder slaps in the face could end in a duel. Who could be surprised that given such betrayals, Cruz could betray the Constitution by backing a coup to keep his defeated master in the White House?

Perhaps Senator Ted Cruz decided to fight a duel with his own reflection in the mirror. How else could he live with himself?
