73% of Americans disapprove of the work of Congress

The website Real Clear Politics drew an average of Congress’s approval rating over the last month (and it has not changed much over many months) based off findings of a number of respected polls. The fact is that if I was a member of Congress, I’d be embarrassed. Then again, with things at a standstill, members seem to want to do as little as possible — except help the very few. 

Congress’ approval rating last month stood at… 15.2 percent. Disapproval of members of Congress among the American public was an embarrassing 73.2 percent. 

There’s only one way to describe this: Ouch!!

There are many explanations, I am sure, for what happens (or doesn’t) inside that once august chamber. The sign to the left may give you a clue.
