Congressman James Comer, a first-term Republican from Kentucky, just returned from a five-day trip to Cuba on a fact-finding delegation. His office released a statement about the trip: “Congressman Comer strongly supports lifting the current trade embargo on Cuba.”

The Associated Press reported on Monday that the U.S. may abstain from the annual U.N. General Assembly vote on a Cuban-backed resolution demanding that the embargo be lifted.
