Posada Carriles trial set for 1-11-2011

EL PASO – The trial of Luis Posada Carriles, the anti-Cuban militant alleged to have masterminded a string of 1997 bombings that targeted Cuban tourist areas, has been set for Jan. 11, 2011.
U.S. District Judge Kathleen Cardone said the trial date is firm and she does not want any more delays. The trial was postponed March 1.
Prosecutors allege that Posada committed immigration fraud and perjury about his entrance into the United States in 2005.
