Brief and to the point

By Francisco Aruca

The title atop this truly brief written piece should have been attached to today’s first column, as announced in last week’s issue of Progreso Weekly. Regrettably, I must apologize and postpone my column until I am able to devote the time such a project deserves.

Writing has always been difficult for me. Although I assure you I had good intentions, while writing this first one I came to realize that currently I do not have the time to devote to this new challenge. Therefore, I believe it is better to rectify an error as soon as possible rather than persist in an effort that would only jeopardize plans and activities I am not willing to compromise at the moment.

Again I must emphasize that this was a project started with the best of intentions, but it simply became one where I tried to bite off more than I can chew. At the right time, I will try again. But at least, as my title indicates, this column has indeed been brief and to the point.

For Progreso Weekly readers who awaited my column(s), I apologize.
